“THIS exciting new feature to Black History Month signals a recognition that there are important contemporary people, both in the US  and  around the globe, who are making profound impacts on history right now. So we felt it appropriate to honor those individuals and share their remarkable achievements as they are unfolding and there is no finer exemplar of a person MAKING history NOW  than Bethelehm Tilahun Alemu”, commented  Andrea Laign , VOA’S producer for the segment.
