BEZEMA opened first chemical bonded warehouse in Ethiopia 

BEZEMA Dyes and Chemicals NBE PLC, a Swiss based chemical company, has opened the first bonded warehouse through the invitation of the Textile Industry Development Institute of Ethiopia to supply pigments, dyes and chemicals to textile factories in Ethiopia.
The Company's warehouse is located in Jemo, Addis Ababa, seeks to relieve the shortage of pigments, dyestuff and chemicals encountered by the Ethiopian textile industry.
BEZEMA is selected after negotiations by the Institute with two other manufacturers, Textile Color from Swiss and Rose Textile, a Turkey based manufacturer.
According to the Ministry of Industry, the Ethiopia's  regulations regarding participation of foreign manufacturers in the sector has been made relaxed to grantee the efficient delivery of vital raw materials to the textile and leather industries.
Textile industry statistics shows, the yearly import of chemicals is estimated to reach 10,000 tons and for dyestuffs and pigments about 400 tons. The industry's demand for chemicals, pigments and dyestuff is growing by 20 percent a year on average.
BEZEMA is also planing to open a chemical, pigment and dyestuff factory in Ethiopia.
BEZEMA is a sister company of CHT/BEZEMA AG of Switzerland.
