Our Spain-like game will prevail against Nigeria: Ethiopia Coach

Ethiopia's coach believes that his players' passing game will give them the upper hand in their confrontation with African Champions Nigeria in the World Cup playoffs.
"I feel confident that our passing game will make the difference when we play the Nigerians. It will be tough, but our great passing game, which is like that of the world champions Spain, will give us the needed victory," Sewnet Bishaw told the Ethiopian Herald.

The Ethiopians made a splash in 2013 after reaching the African Cup of Nations finals for the first time since 1982. They have now reached the playoffs of the World Cup 2014.

Ethiopia are trying to emulate the Barcelona and Spain short passing style to keep control of the game's rhythm.

"We can do what Spain did against the Nigerians. We showed glimpses of that when we met them at the Africa Cup of Nations," Bishaw added.

Ethiopia will host the Nigerian Super Eagles on Sunday at 13:00GMT.
