Niger/Ethiopia: The Nigerian Defense Must Be Careful, Tom Saintfiet
As Africa Top Sports has informed a two weeks
ago, the latest World Cup Brazil 2014 playoffs' draw held in September
pitted the Super Eagles of Nigeria to Ethiopia.
Being conscious of a possibles surprise from the Walia Antelopes, the former Malawi coach, Tom Sainfiet cautions the Nigerians over their opponent already considered as a blessing by Musa Amadu.
"They have some good counter-attack strikers like Saladin Said who find it easy to score goals and so the Nigerian defence must be careful, because sometimes they are weak at the back, and so if Ethiopia can take advantage of that, then they will score goals," Saintfiet told Brila FM.
Also notice that the former Nigerian footballer and coach, Sampson Siasia also cautioned Nigerians not to under-estimate the Ethiopians.
The 1st leg match between Nigeria and Ethiopia will be held on October 13 in Addis Ababa.
