Egypt, Ethiopia, Sudan Discuss "Renaissance Dam" in October 

An Ethiopian official said Monday 14/10/2013 that officials from Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt are expected to meet this month to hold discussions on means of implementing the recommendation of the international experts committee, tasked to assess the potential impacts of Ethiopia's massive dam project on downstream countries of Sudan and Egypt.
Director of the Boundary and Trans-boundary Rivers Affairs Directorate at the Ethiopian Ministry of Water and Energy Fekahmed Negash said that this meeting is expected to be held in Khartoum, Sudan on 22 October.
Negash said that the experts recommended conducting more studies to analyze the impacts that the Ethiopian dam would pose to Egypt and Sudan.
