CAF unveils seeding for the 2015African cup of nations




The African football governing body has revealed the seeding for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations draw
Caf on Wednesday revealed the seeding for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations draw scheduled for March 10 in Morocco where the tournament will hold.
The qualification procedure will resume its habitual mode after it was altered for the 2013 edition following the change of the tournament’s calendar to odd- numbered years.
Some 44 national teams have been seeded in four pots of 11 teams each according to their current ranking. Teams in the same pot cannot be drawn against each other
Seedings:
Pot One: Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Togo, Mali, South Africa, Cape Verde, DR Congo, Zambia, Tunisia, Ghana.
Pot Two: Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Senegal, Cameroon, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Gabon, Uganda, Congo, Central African Republic.
Pot Three: Ethiopia, Benin, Angola, Niger, Zimbabwe, Equatorial, Mozambique, Malawi, Burundi, Liberia, Sudan.
Pot Four: To be determined after the preliminary round.
