Kenya: Patricia Amira Calls Out Ethiopian Airlines
Media personality and renowned TV host Patricia Amira took to her Facebook page on Sunday afternoon to rant about her frustrations of dealing with Ethiopian Airlines.
Her update which read in part, "arrived at JKIA at 3:30a.m for an Ethiopian Airlines flight to Abuja only to be told the flight has been cancelled. This, coming after repeated albeit noncommittal assurances over the phone both on Friday and Saturday, that the flight will depart as scheduled.
No warning to passengers, no ET personnel on the ground to assist and offer alternative arrangements, customers having to call ET HQ in Ethiopia to get telephone numbers of ET managers here in Nairobi.
Returned home to sleep. About three hours ago, a call comes in from ET personnel (who refused to give their name). My hubby answered (as I was asleep), and he was given some tale about there being only one flight a day, at 6p.m...so basically, I was lying. Customer service looks like a pipe dream from where I'm sitting!"
