Turning car tyres into shoes at Ethiopian factory

 

African leaders are gathering in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa to mark 50 years of the African Union and its predecessor, the Organisation of African Unity.
Once known for its famines and dependency on foreign aid, Ethiopia now has one of the world's fastest growth rates.
Some of that growth is coming from small businesses - and George Alagiah has been to a shoe factory with a difference in Addis Ababa.
