Ethiopian Coffee defeats St. George 1-0 to go on top of Ethiopian Premier League

Ethiopian Coffee defeated arch rival St. George 1-0 here today to share top position of the Ethiopian Premier League with Hawassa Kenema.

Ethiopian Coffee and Hawassa now have 28 points each after 14 matches but the former has a better goal difference (+10 vs +9 goals).
In today’s other matches, EEPCO scored a 3-1 victory over last-place Water Works, while Mugher Cement and Arba Minch Kenema drew 1-1.
Meanwhile, the one-time league leader Dedebit FC, suffered a shocking 3-1 loss at the hands of Sidama Coffee here in the capital yesterday and now seats in 3^rd place.  Meanwhile, Mekelakeya (Defence) beat the visiting Harar Brewery 3-1 to move up to fourth place.
