Tanzania lands another friendly match away in Ethiopia

Tanzania’s Taifa stars have landed another high profile friendly match against Africa Cup of Nation’s bound Ethiopia. The match is set for Friday January 11th at the Addis Ababa National Stadium.
Tanzania Football Federation’s [TFF] Information Officer Boniface Wambura confirmed in a press briefing that the match will be played as part of Stars preparations for their upcoming World Cup qualifier against Morocco in March.
Ethiopia’s Walya Antelopes on the other hand are preparing for the continental tournament [AFCON] set to take place in South Africa between January 19 and February 10 2013.
Eight out of 22 players named last week by Tanzania head coach Kim Poulsen squad for the Ethiopia friendly have so far reported at camp.
Yanga’s players in the coach’s squad are Kelvin Yondani, Nadir Haroub, Athuman Idd, Frank Domayo and Simon Msuva.
Those from Simba are Juma Kaseja, Mrisho Ngassa, Shomari Kapombe, Amri Kiemba, Mwinyi Kazimoto, while Azam’s are Aggrey Morris, Mwadin Ally, Aishi Manula, Erasto Nyoni, John Bocco, Salum Abubakar and Khamis Mcha.
Other players in the team include Issa Rashid and Shabani Nditi both of Mtibwa Sugar, Thomas Ulimwengu and Mbwana Samata (TP Mazembe).
